Kenton Bethany was formed in 2005. We have our celebration service every Sunday from 5.00pm till 7.30pm at the Kenton Methodist Church Hall, Woodgrange Avenue, Kenton, Harrow, HA3 0XF and this is followed by a dinner in the same premises. The service is conducted in Tamil and English. Currently, Kenton Bethany consists of one hundred and twenty members including children and youth. In addition to the Sunday celebrations, we have a number of other activities suitable for different age groups and the following section provides information on these activities.
What We Do?
Below is some information on what we do as a Church
The Bible tells us we need to attend church so we can worship God with other believers and be taught His Word for our spiritual growth. Church is the place where believers can love one another , encourage one another, lead one another to love and good works, serve one another, instruct one another, honor one another, and be kind and compassionate to one another. It also allows us to have Fellowship with other believers. Church is a place where anyone is welcomed to attend. Our Service takes place every Sunday (5:00pm) at Kenton Methodist Church.
Going to Church on a Sunday is not enough to develop ourselves through the word of God as Christians. One of our values at Bethany is to build healthy relationships and we believe it is important for everyone to discover a place where they can connect and grow. We were never created to “do life” alone and Life Groups exist for individuals to build community, which is an important part of maintaining a healthy Christian walk. That is why we have a Life Group every Wednesday (8-9pm) at Kenton Baptist Church where anyone can attend and experience the love of God.
“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these”. The greatest gift, the most precious inheritance that we have to give to our children is our Christian Faith. Our duty as a Church is to bring up our Children according to the Word of God. Therefore, every Sunday we hold Sunday School classes for children up to the age of sixteen. They take place at various times depending on the time and most importantly, anyone can attend!
